SOS Salsa on Saturday – 22 – Pre SLF Party

Hi everyone, we are really excited again to be hosting a pre Sydney Latin Festival party as part of the SOS annual program.

In the house will be Jaime Jesus and the LDA Team teaching workshops and performing for us all. You’ll get to see some of our local dance studios shows that they’ll be performing in Sydney the following weekend.

Be sure to check out the Sydney Latin Festival website and get in early for your show tickets and accommodation, it is ALWAYS a fantastic weekend of performances, workshops and amazing social dancing.

We continue to strive toward our aim to bring a once a month social dance event to the Canberra region for lovers of Salsa/Mambo, Chachacha and Bachata.

The emphasis on the tunes for our monthly parties is on classic and new salsa and mambo rhythms complemented with Bachata and chachahca. Tracks will suit salsa On1 or On2 dancers as well as lovers of bachata and cha cha cha.

The event is cross studio, meaning open to everyone from all dance studios. We invite you to come and meet fellow Canberra dancers from all the local studios, from in and out of town to support this initiative to nurture and grow these styles of dancing in Canberra.

Doors open at 7pm dancing till midnight.
Workshop (from 7-8pm) AND social dancing $20
Social Dancing starts at 8pm and is only $10
All entry fee includes shows.
Bottled water is available for $2
