New for December 2016, The Egypt Salsa Congress- Sharm El Sheik
Roll Up Roll Up.......... get your winter sun, and Xmas shopping, all in one magical dance extravaganza week, with some of the top international teachers and performers.
December in Egypt is the perfect time of year to visit, especially for a dance congress. The days are hot until 4pm and it can get cold in the evenings leaving dancers with a nice cool breeze just when its needed.

We're giving everyone plenty of notice, as we know many of you need to plan your holiday for the year, and some need advance notice to take time off over the Xmas period. So save the date, and tell the boss. December 2016 is one you're gonna look forward to.

The Congress website www.egyptsalsacongress.com will be live soon, and you will be able to book, promoters please feel free to contact us, it will run the second week of December, 7th-14th

The congress will be held in the 5 star Barcelo hotel with space for 800 guests. Once the hotel is full there will be no more passes sold.
There is opportunity to purchase extra additional nights, either side of the 7 day Experience, at a reduced price for our guests if required. 3 nights or more may also be booked over the weekend.

This is an All Inclusive hotel, so all food and drinks are included in the package. There are no party passes, only full packages, and you are required to stay at the hotel; as they do not allow outside guests to enter. Security is very tight in Sharm El Sheik, as they take their tourist industry seriously. It is very safe.

x3 Workshops will run 10.30am-11.30/ 11.30-12.30- 7 days
Then also at 4pm-7pm 2-3 days of the congress
Pool and beach parties between 12-4pm, or just relax swim & tan
party nights begin 10.30/11pm (with shows at mid night)

Breakfast is 8-10am
lunch 1pm-3pm
Dinner 7pm-10pm

Party nights for social dancing x4 at the hotel
there will be 4 party nights held in the hotel
1 night in Nama Bay- to see traditional shows (sheesha optional) and/or shopping.
1 evening is soho square fountain shows and/or shopping /fantasia show
1 beach party night dancing under the stars

Excursions - These cost extra and booking in advance is required. You will not be able to book at a late date, or when you arrive; due to the number of people, and coach space required .
1. boat trip to Tiran Island for snorkling pick up and drop off at the hotel or sea submarine glass bottom boat £15-£25
2. 4pm sand buggy / quad bike trip into the dessert, watch the sunset, star gazing, 10 minute camel ride, traditional food & show, included; then buggy back to the coach at night, with pick up and drop back to the hotel. £30-£35
3. Aqua Park for the day 10am-4pm all inclusive food and drink with pick up and drop off £30 take a towel your costume (lockers can be purchased they cost about £1 a deposit is required)
4. Fantasia show night 10pm-1am cultural show £35 with pick up and drop off
5. Camel riding in the dessert. £15
6. Parasailing £20
7, fun hour inflatables £50
8. scuba diving (various beginner or certified)
Prices are per person, and are approximate they will be confirmed 6 months before the congress and you will be able to book online, to ensure that you don;t miss out

We can also arrange portable WIFI for you at a cost, however if you bring a laptop, they do have a hard cable in the rooms (It will not work with your telephone or ipad). WIFI is only available in the hotel reception.

Be prepared to bargain for those Xmas presents ,
t shirts, shirts, and jeans. Natural perfumes, and products for the skin. Handbags, purses, travel bags, belts, watches, and jewellery. its a fantastic place for Xmas shopping .. bring suitcase space.

flights from London UK are around £125-£160 Easy jet, Monarch, Turkish airlines all fly directly. If booked in advance.
flights are also cheap from Milan,(£75 return this year), Holland, Istanbul, Russia(Moscow), Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle, to name just a few places . Book early to avoid dissapointment.

Egyptian teachers and performers please feel free to send us your show reels to include a class . we are focusing on Salsa. Although as we are in Egypt, we are also interested in the very best local bellydancing teacher.
